Mission Trip
– January 2020
In January 2020, Randy McEwen, the Acts 3 Director, took a team of two young ladies to Malawi, Africa. These two ladies are also a vital part of the Acts 3 team in the US. We try and encourage all of our employees, board members, and supporters to make the trip. This way, they get a better understanding of what we are fighting for.
Though teenagers, both of these young ladies were strong, courageous, and loved and ministered well above their years. For the bulk of the trip, we focused on two primary tasks. Each morning, we would walk to the Acts 3 orphanage and love on and minister to the children. After lunch each day, we would go into the surrounding villages with our pastors and minister in the streets by sharing the Gospel one person at a time.
Here are some of the pictures from our time with the beautiful children:
These beautiful children and their loving hearts, make all this worth it!!!
Part of the great blessing of ministering in the country of Malawi is that people are hungry for hope. With all of the poverty, disease, economic conditions, etc., the beautiful people of Malawi are hungry for the hope that is found only in Jesus. One of our greatest honors and joys, is to go into the streets and villages and just meet people where they are at, and tell them about The Way, The Truth, and The Life that is found only in Christ.
It was such a blessing to watch these young ladies from America conquer their fear and just share their hearts with complete strangers. We were also blessed with many of the local church members to participate. Below are some of the pictures of our street ministry time. We planted and watered, but God alone gave the increase…we saw 100’s come to Christ over the week.
Below are some of the pictures from our Street Ministry & House to House Evangelism…
