Acts 3 Donation Acceptance Policy

  • Donations (Non-Financial) are only accepted after being checked by an employee.
  • Donations are only accepted during business hours – up until 4:30 each day. 
    Specifically the hours of donation acceptance are:
    + Monday through Saturday = 9am – 4:30pm
    + Sunday = closed so donations are not accepted.
  • Do not dump items outside and drive off. Donations only accepted by Acts 3 employees. 
  • Donations cannot be taken in rain or if there is lightning.
  • Donations should be in boxes, bags or bins that you can leave with us. We normally cannot accept
    loose items, and are not equipped to empty out your boxes or bins into others.

In General, the types of items we CAN Accept include:

  • All types and sizes of clothing, shoes, accessories
  • Housewares like blankets, sheets, towels, wash cloths, drapes, curtains, etc.
  • Kitchen items like dishes, glasses, flatware, etc.
  • Small kitchen appliances like clean toasters, blenders, etc.
  • Clean toys, games, puzzles, etc.
  • Video games
  • Working Home Electronics (stereos, DVD players, VHS players, CD players, etc.)
  • Clean books (not wet, marked in, soiled or discolored)
  • Furniture Items in great condition (must be inspected)
  • Sports and exercise equipment
  • Jewelry
  • Knick-knacks & collectibles
  • Holiday Items
  • Hand and power tools
  • Most usable household items not listed below

In General, the types of items we CANNOT Accept include:

  • We cannot take any used mattresses, box-springs, or bed pillows
  • We cannot accept any large appliances (stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, refrigerators or mounted microwaves)
  • We cannot accept tires
  • We cannot accept the outlawed drop-side cribs or expired car seats
  • We cannot accept TV’s not testable, not in working order or more than 10 years old
  • We cannot accept furniture that is broken, stained, ripped or with any odors
  • We cannot accept anything that is wet or shows signs of being wet
  • We cannot accept items with any signs of bugs or rodent infestations
  • We cannot accept items that we deem are unusable to us
